Building an app
How much does it cost?
$20 per app, charged once before the build starts. No subscription.
How long does a build take?
Usually about 10–15 minutes once you've answered the questions and paid. You can follow progress on your dashboard.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe what you want in plain English and answer a few questions. The AI handles the rest.
What kinds of apps can I build?
Web apps: business websites, dashboards, booking tools, marketplaces, trackers, internal tools and more. Apps that need logins or saved data get a real back end and database.
What if the build fails?
The build retries failed steps automatically. If it still can't be completed, email support@x3lab.dev for a refund of the $20 fee.
Your app
Who owns the app?
You do. You keep your rights in the apps you create; see the Creator Terms.
Can I download the source code?
Yes, the full source code is included with your build. On your creator dashboard, click the download icon on your app to get a zip with the code and setup instructions. It always matches the latest published version.
Can I change my app after it's built?
Yes. Use “Improve app with AI” on your creator dashboard: describe the change, review it on a preview link, then publish or discard it. Your live app stays unchanged until you publish.
Where is my app hosted?
At your-app.3xlabs.forgeloops.com, with a secure (https) connection.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Click the globe icon on your app, enter your domain, and we'll show the exact DNS records to add at your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, Cloudflare and others). Only change the records we list; your email keeps working. It usually goes live within an hour.
Can I hide my app from the marketplace?
Yes. The eye icon on your app lets you make it public, unlisted, private, shared with specific people, password-protected, or a draft.
Selling and payouts
How much do I earn when my app sells?
You keep 70% of every sale. x3lab's 30% covers hosting, the marketplace and card processing fees.
How do I get paid?
Connect a bank account once with Stripe from your creator dashboard. Each sale is paid out automatically 14 days after the purchase. How payouts work
Do I pay taxes on my earnings?
Yes, you're responsible for taxes on your earnings. Where required by law, you'll receive a tax form (such as a Form 1099) for the year.
Buying an app
What do I get when I buy an app?
An instant download of the full source code with a README covering setup, a license key, and a commercial-use license. Try the live demo first so you know exactly what you're getting.
Can I resell an app I bought?
You can use, modify, and deploy it for yourself or a client, but you can't resell or relist the code as-is. See the license.
Can I get a refund?
Apps are digital downloads, so purchases are final once downloaded. If an app is materially broken or doesn't match its listing, contact support within 14 days and we'll fix it, replace it, or refund you. See Refunds.
