Creator Terms

Last updated: October 15, 2026

1. Who these terms apply to

These Creator Terms apply to anyone who lists an app for sale on x3lab (a "creator"). They are in addition to our Terms of Service. If the two conflict, these Creator Terms apply to your activity as a creator.

2. Your earnings

You earn 70% of the sale price of each of your apps sold on the marketplace. x3lab keeps a 30% platform commission, which covers hosting, the marketplace, and card processing fees. Your earnings and amounts paid out are shown on your creator dashboard.

3. Payouts through Stripe

Payment processing services for creators on x3lab are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the "Stripe Services Agreement"). By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a creator on x3lab, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of x3lab enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide x3lab accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize x3lab to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.

To receive payouts you must complete Stripe's account setup, which may ask for your legal name, date of birth, address, tax identification number, and bank account or debit card. x3lab does not see or store your full bank account or tax details; Stripe collects and holds them.

4. Payout schedule

Each sale is held for 14 days, matching the buyer refund window in our Terms of Service. After the hold, your share is transferred to your Stripe account in our next daily payout run, and Stripe then sends it to your bank according to your Stripe payout schedule (usually within a few business days).

If you haven't finished Stripe setup, your earnings stay on your x3lab balance and are paid out after setup is complete. We may delay or withhold a payout if we reasonably suspect fraud, a violation of these terms, or if required by law or by Stripe.

5. Refunds and chargebacks

If a sale is refunded or disputed by the buyer, your share of that sale is cancelled. If it was already paid out, we may deduct it from your future earnings or reverse the transfer from your Stripe account.

6. Your apps and listings

You keep your rights in the apps you create and the content you provide. By listing an app, you give x3lab a non-exclusive license to host it, run its live demo, display it and its screenshots, and sell copies to buyers under the x3lab license. You can unlist an app at any time; copies already sold remain licensed to their buyers.

You are responsible for your listings being accurate. Apps must not infringe anyone else's rights, impersonate another company's brand, or break our acceptable use rules. Reviews must come from genuine buyers; we may remove reviews you leave on your own apps.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on your earnings. Where required by law, you will receive a tax form (such as a Form 1099) for your earnings for the year.

8. Suspension and changes

We may remove listings or suspend creator accounts that violate these terms. We may update these terms; if we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where possible, notify you. Continuing to sell on x3lab means you accept the updated terms.
